Features:

• Resistance to corrosion in salt spray according to DIN 50021: 500 hours without rust infiltration
• Self-healing effect through bleeding at little damages
• Because no filling material is used, there is no water absorption caused by capillarity
• Bending test at 70° C according to DIN 53152: no fissures and separations
• Yield: up to 1,5 m2
• Dust-dry after 2-3 hours
• Dry to handle after 4-5 hours
• Temperature resistance from -25°C to +80°C
• Based on wax.

Areas of Application: Cartechnic stone chip underbody protection is mainly used for underbodies of passenger cars. Due to its waxy coat vehicles are protected against mechanical loads and chemical attacks, e.g. stone-chipping, road salt, water, etc. and thus it avoids corrosion.
