About us
How everything started...
The Axel Gerstl Company was founded over 35 years ago. It all started out of love for the classic Fiat 500 and an idea that was concepted in a small warehouse. Today, 20 employees work in the office, warehouse and distribution departments. 1.000 m² provide the storage space for about 95 % of the 5.000 articles in our range of spare-parts for Fiat 500, Fiat 126 and Fiat 600 vintage cars.

Today, 20 employees work in the office, warehouse and distribution departments. 1.000 m² provide the storage space for about 95 % of the 5.000 articles in our range of spare-parts for Fiat 500, Fiat 126 and Fiat 600 vintage cars.
The top priority has always been the satisfaction of our customers. For this reason, a computer controlled catalytic converter was developed, as well as several TÜV-certificates for tuning-parts, wheel rims and steering-wheels. We search for new as well as used parts that are no longer manufactured, even possibilities of reproduction. It goes without saying that we answer customer inquiries quickly and individually. In addition, the interested party will find comprehensive information in the service area of our website.
It's getting sportive...
In 1997 the Axel Gerstl Company took over the representative of Luisi sport-steering-wheels in Germany. The Luisi company, a family business, chooses only the best quality for their products. Through careful handicraft, Volanti Luisi, which is ISO 9002 certified, fulfills the highest quality standards.

Always up to date...
In the beginning of 2000 the company appeared on the internet under www.FIAT500126.de with an extensive online-shop feature. This made the company more accessible to customers in foreign countries, which is why an English translation of the online-shop was necessary. In April 2001 the distribution was equipped with a new electronic-data-processing-based logistics-system. With this new method, the major part of the orders can be realized within the same day even at the busiest of times, thus reaching our customers that live in a radius of 600 km the next day!
But we keep on developing. We won't come to a standstill until all your wishes can be fulfilled. Over 60k satisfied customers worldwide can confirm this.

In 2019 we went online with a hole new web appearance which does not only focus on our shop but also on our information and service area. The new website offers much more comfort for the shopping user but also helps users who are searching for deeper information on Fiat 500, Fiat 126 or Fiat 600 with a wider range of information. We hope to satisfy our customers even more, inspirer them with a new shopping-experience and an additional benefit in our service area.
