500 Coupé Canta
Carrozzeria Canta presented this coupé based on the Fiat 500 at the 1957 Turin Motor Show. It had a compact, rounded shape with a large V-shaped rear window and a strange diamond-shaped chrome grille. In order to arouse curiosity for the model, Fiat, at that time, sold the Fiat 500 chassis at a very low price to body makers that designed prototypes so that many creations like this one remained nothing but unique, stylistic ideas.

The company grew to such an extent that a change of location became necessary. While they stayed in Turin, perhaps the over-investment made did not pay off as hoped so that after some years, around 1964/65, the company closed its doors forever.
Besides custom cars, Carrozzeria Canta also built utility vehicles, hearses and advertising vehicles.
