V-Belt for generator and fan: check the tension

Check the v-belt tension which is correctly adjusted when the bending A is about 1 cm under a pressure of 10 kg.

To retension the belt:

• Release the nuts B on the pulley for the generator.
• Take off the outer half of the pulley.
• Remove one or more adjusting shims to narrow the pulley channel. If you remove more shims you have to put one half to the front and the other half to the back of the pulley for the generator.
• Remount the pulley and fix it with the three nuts B.
