He’ll go through all 16 German States and visit special events to talk about AIDS. Burkhard on tour in Germany! At least since 2010, when he crossed the Sahara with his little yellow 500, the HIV activist Burkhard Hildebrandt is certainly a term to every Fiat 500 enthusiast. This year, Burkhard starts again. But this time it does not go to far away exotic countries or to sun-drenched beaches under palm trees. Instead, Burkhard has decided to travel from Hamelin across Germany. The Germany Tour 2014 will start on March 17th in Hameln and will end on April 13th again in Hameln. As part of this four-week journey, Burkhard will meet celebrities, visit social institutions and self-help groups, and give lectures about his adventures with his Fiat 500 in the desert and the issue of HIV in Africa and Europe. During all the time, Burkhard will be equipped only with petrol money, because he wants to prove, that the word solidarity is not a loanword in Germany. To achieve this, he will get in contact to the local people and ask for food and accommodation. Another main goal of his lecture series is to collect donations for the club "Journey of Hope", which is taken up with the aim to encourage people with HIV, to overcome discrimination and exclusion of HIV-infected patients and to support national and international HIV projects. The reports are written in the native language of the participant and were adopted by us 1:1. Unfortunately we cannot provide any spell checking and translation work. If you have documented the history of restoration of your Fiat 500, Fiat 126 or Fiat 600 in pictures, then you may like to participate in our contest until 31 May 2014! Send the restoration story of your car, nicely documented by some detailed photos to restauration@fiat500126.com.*** A competent jury will judge who did the most difficult, the most perfect or the most complex job to bring his Fiat 500, Fiat 126 or Fiat 600 back on the street. The winner receives a voucher worth 1000 Euros for shopping at Fiat500126.com to keep his car in perfect condition over the next years!
