Corona – important information on shipments! ONLINE ORDERING STILL POSSIBLE! Dear customers, dear friends of the Fiat 500, Fiat 126 and Fiat 600, Due to the continuing corona pandemic, our contractual partners DHL and DPD will resort to contact-free delivery of parcels from now on. Original statement by DPD: "The deliverer will ring the doorbell and step back to maintain a distance of at least two metres. When the recipient opens the door, the deliverer will inform him/her about the contact-free delivery and put down the parcel. As the recipient’s name, the deliverer will enter a specific code for the contact-free delivery in his/her device, together with the location where he/she left the parcel, and his/her own initials instead of a signature. The recipient’s signature is not required. If the recipient is absent, the parcel will be returned to the sender. An exception are small, flat parcels that may be placed in the letterbox if they fit through the slot. If a recipient refuses delivery of the parcel because of the corona virus, the parcel will be labelled accordingly and returned to the sender." Despite the current situation, we will keep our online shop open and send out ordered items. However, please understand that in the current situation, we are not able to bear the cost incurred for parcels that cannot be delivered by the DHL/DPD staff due to absence of the recipient. This means that we will have to charge the costs for renewed shipment of a parcel to the recipient during the corona emergency situation. It is not possible to credit and refund postage expenses after a parcel has been returned to our address.
