| > Targa Tasmania |

The first Targa Tasmania Rally took place in 1992. Its name comes from
the Targa Florio which was a famous race in Sicily. It belongs to the
oldest races in the world. The Targa Florio first took place in 1906 and
was abolished in 1977 for reasons of security. Today the locations of the
Targa Tasmania are (besides Tasmania) New Zealand, West-Australia and
Newfoundland. This year there started about 300 cars of about 30 different car
manufacturers on a distance of 2000 kilometres. With them a Fiat Abarth
750 GT. According to the crew member Bill Freame the rear stub axle of the
750 GT cracked on the second day of the race. With a reparation the car
was able to go on with the race but couldn't hit a good
position because of the delay. But the Fiat Punto was able to achieve
the second place of all diesel and won the 'Showroom 2WD'
category. |

For sending us your cleaned steering-knuckle scrap-parts, we will issue either a refund of EUR 25,00 or a purchase voucher of EUR 35,00 that you can deduct from your next order. The production of original Fiat 500 steering-knuckles had already ended in the 70ies. For this reason, it is necessary for us to charge a scrap-part deposit in order to be able to continue the supply of rebuilt parts. Despite the deposit charged, which is currently at EUR 40,00, far too few scrap-parts are returned to us. For a long time, we were able to make do with scrap-parts that we found
in one of the many italian junkyards, to have these rebuilt. After most of
these junkyards are now closed, this source has dwindled almost
completely, therefore the availability of rebuilt steering-knuckles can no
longer be guaranteed in the long run. This offer remains valid to 31.12.2008.
