The tour operator Explorando Tour is organizing an unique adventure trip, planned for the legendary Fiat 500, in collaboration with the Fiat 500 Club Italia and the National Office of Tourism in Tunisia. For the second time a convoy of 30 unique Fiat 500 will start at the 17th of September 2010 to visit the most fascinating sights in Tunisia. (The pictures on the right were taken at the first Sahara Experience in 2009). A team of maintenance men will support the Fiat 500 drivers during their journey. The tour starts in Genoa, heads through the famous berbercity Matmata and finally ends in the oasis of Xar Ghilane, which is the southern check point of the trip. We, the Axel Gerstl Company, are one of the main sponsors for this unique trip and proud to be able to support this adventure with money and donation in kind (necessary spare parts for the tour). We will, of course, report exclusively about the stages of the trip in our future newsletters. |
