Restoration of a vintage Fiat 500 F
Finally, after some search the Fiat 500 F, the car we desired, was found. The first photos show the Fiat 500 before the restoration

... with rusty sills and wheel arches...

... and a ground that needed to be redeveloped completely.

First the rear left side part was removed and replaced by a new part.

A wheel case and sills were renewed and grounded, the weldseams were grouted.

The front fender was removed, the wheel case was cut out.

Then we removed the nner wheel case, adapted the outer sills, renewed and grounted the interior fenders.

The foot pedal were removed and afterwords renewed...

... the trunk tub adapted and welded.

Afterwards, the priming and grouting of the front wheel cases as well as the adaptation of the fender follows.

To renew the wheel cases, the side part got ripped out.

In just one step the right sill as well as the wheel case were finally renewed, adapted and grounted.

In the meantime we completely renewed the tail, the hood was installed and the tail cross beam was adapted. Now the body is assembled and examined for the correct gap dimensions.

After renewing the engine compartment sheet metals due to the intended sport rims and 155 broad all fenders were fixed with their sourroundings and the free movement of the wheels was examined. After some fine work, the body was ready to be send to the sandblast.

After the sandblast of the few parts that were not renewed, the body got grounded.

After that the weldseams were firmly grouted

After the fitting of the roll-over bar the weldseams of the front and the fender were tinned. When that was done the internal area was grounded and luted. Finally the body as well as the doors and bonnets could be brought to the lacquerer.

The Engine and the transmission have already been deconstructed, cleaned and rebuilt with new parts like the cylinder, piston,
clutch, distributor etc. The transmission only needed a "dental cleaning" at least there was no 'prosthesis' necessary!

Finally the car could be reassembled: the front and rear axle as well as...
